There are a few things that I face my life in Berlin but then miss ... brown bread (you can buy a cake mix to make yourself at Esselunga), sausage (you can buy at Lidl or Penny), and concerts. Concerts are a problem, though here in the village and the more beautiful it was, that Davide van de Sfroos played here in Verbania. Davide van de Sfroos is absolute ruler over my car radio and my absolute favorite seven.
The now, in fact, Dutch-style Van de Sfroos means in other contexts Davide Bernasconi and sings and writes in the dialect of the Lago di Como, precise "laghée", one for half-turned my an end to German completely incomprehensible version of Italian, kindly be found on the CDs and on the Internet. Musically, however the man hits the bull's-eye with me. Influenced by punk and especially in recent times of varieties of blues and jazz, he accelerated his excellent band and traditional motifs of the alpine folk music. Do not worry, all is not sound then after Randfichten or Herzbuben much clearer after the Pogues. And that would then also the greatest compliment I could speak with a live band.
Van de Sfroos, who also writes and author of various stories and poetry, the concert begins with a spartan instrumentalized Acoustic set (guitar, accordion, fiddle), underscored beautifully by a projected on two screens show of his photographs from the Lago di Como. After about half an hour the rest of this many-headed band is called, so fans have something to jump. Someone has been whispering to him the idea to bring people onto the stage to represent the respective songs. What is particularly nice because there are smugglers, prostitutes, Carabinieri and other unsavory fellows only way romp.
The whole thing has been incredibly fun, van de Sfroos exudes a rare stage presence, knowledge of Italian is helpful to understand his jokes and stories between songs, which make up half of the fun. And bands that can still fly, despite some notoriety for almost 10 euros for 3 hours the rags must necessarily supported werden.Hier anyway and a few interesting facts from wiki (in Italian) http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Davide_Van_De_Sfroos and his side: http://www.davidevandesfroos.com/ Click on "Tour" for the concert dates, and go: a taste of the music of this video here:
