So slowly I finish my Cilento report. Of the dozens of wonderful places we have visited, I would still show you where to go swimming in the Cilento coast is best and how it looks at home. Our hotel was located in the Val Sele yes, a little in the rear of the Cilento in about 20-25 minutes drive from the sea.

Here we are in the nature reserve of the rivers Sele and Tanagro offering exceptionally attractive landscape and nature offers prospects. This spring the grassland territory rich sources of Contursi Terme, famous for its water, and especially their white mud, which is used in beauty and skin care. There are many plants, where they regenerate themselves with thermal treatments can. In art-historical interest are the churches of Santa Maria degli Angeli (9th century) and Carmine, and archeological finds, such as a villa of the Roman era and a neolithic grave near the river Tanagro.

I found especially the lovely village of Val Sele impressive Senerchia and Paestum, I've already described. In the following, I let the pictures speak, above all, I have visited villages and towns of the upper Seletals (Alto Valle Sele) and photographed - in addition to Senerchia and Paestum, and in particular Colliano Collianello, Olivetro Citra Quaglietta with its fortress and are worth a visit. Muro Lucano and the Castello di Lagopesole actually lie more in the Val Sele, but in the neighboring Basilicata, but are also worth a visit. Also a short trip with a picnic expected di Laghi di Monticchio, a popular recreation destination with the locals.
